I received my B.S. in Physics from Tennessee Technical University (magna cum Lauda).  I received masters in electrical engineering and applied physics at Washington University in St. Louis (summa cum Lauda).  I went on later in my career to get a master's certificate in Six Sigma from Villanova, and masters' in Business Managment and Marketing from Tulane.  I've done several projects for the DoD, and particularly DARPA over my career.  I've worked on deep earth geothermal and deep earth abandoned oil and gas well decommissioning for the Department of Energy and the Advanced Reasearch Program Agency - E for the U.S. government.  With my Six Sigma Master Blackbelt I have led the implementation of Six Sigma and Lean at several companies.  I am highly proficient with Product Development and Manufacturing line optimization; even pure R&D needs to have an eye towards how products are going to be used or manufactured in the future.  Over my career I've been a design engineer, a principal scientist, Vice President of Manufacturing, Vice President of Operations, Director of Business Development, and Vice President of Engineering for uber tech companies.  My C-suite positions include Chief Technology (Scientific) Officer for a high-energy laser oil and gas company as well as COO for an industrial laser company.  Many of the positions listed have been at publicly traded companies.  Over my career, I've worked with nearly every type of company and technology imaginable.  It doesn't matter if you are looking for a better way to repel mosquitos or need help with your idea to save the planet, we can probably help you.
